DAY 4: POTOSI - PULACAYO - UYUNI.

The stunning high road between Potosi and Pulacayo are home to remote communities of Llama farmers. It's a long and empty road. Where you might be lucky to see the odd truck on it's way to the markets of Potosi.

The historic industrial site of Pulacayo is located in the Potosí Department of Bolivia. The mining center developed around Huanchaca, the world's 2nd largest silver mine, and was originally founded in 1833. Now virtually a ghost town Pulacayo is a UNESCO world heritage site that features a the first railroad to ever reach Bolivia.
Pulacayo also contains a train that Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid famously robbed.
